Musketeers Pick up 4-3 Win over South Florida

Xavier returns home for four-straight matches, starting with Virginia Tech on Friday, February 4 and Michigan State on Sunday, February 6.

THE MATCH |
USF tied the match 1-1 with the first singles decision, a 6-2, 6-4 win in the No. 2 spot against Anna Roggenburk.
Imani Graham put the Musketeers back in front with a 6-0, 7-5 win in the No. 1 spot. Anna Smith made it a 3-1 lead with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 win in the No. 4 spot.
Xavier clinched the match in the No. 3 spot, where Kat Lyman battled back from falling in the first set and trailing 5-0 in the second set to take the 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1 win and put the Musketeers ahead 4-1.
USF picked up the final two points, taking the No. 5 spot, 6-3, 6-1 against Anne-Sophie Courteau and the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 7-5, against Blessing Nwaozuzu.
