Men's Tennis Sweeps Niagara 7-0

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Xavier men's tennis opened its trip to Michigan with a 7-0 sweep of Niagara on Thursday evening.
Xavier is next in action against Michigan State on Friday, March 18 at noon.
In doubles action, Xavier took the point with wins in the No. 3 spot, 6-1, for Shashank Reddy and Charlie Temming, and in the No. 1 spot for Diego Nava and Ryan Cahill. 6-3.
Charlie Temming picked up the first singles decision, a 6-2, 6-0 win on No. 3. Cambell Nakayama made it a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win on the No. 6 court.
Ryan Cahill clinched the match in the No. 2 spot, 7-6 (3), 6-2. Brett Winters added to the lead with a 6-2, 6-2 win on the No. 1 court.
Caden Kammerer battled back to take a 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 win on No. 5 and Marco Pennelli finished the sweep with a 7-6, 6-2 win on the No. 4 court.
