The Musketeers defeated the Huskies, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon
STORRS, Conn. - Xavier men's soccer ended regular-season action with a 4-0 win at UConn on Saturday afternoon at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.
Xavier finished regular-season action with a 7-3-5 (4-1-3 BIG EAST) record and a Midwest Division Title. The Huskies moved to 8-7-1 (4-4 BIG EAST) and finished fourth in the East Division.

• UConn's starting goalkeeper Jayden Hibbert was issued a red card in the 23rd minute for fouling Taylor Rhinehart just outside the box. The Huskies played a man down the rest of the match following the red card.
• Xavier held an 11-5 advantage in shots and took five more shots on goal (7-2). The Huskies committed four more fouls (7-3) and was called offsides one more time than Xavier (2-1). Both teams took three corner kicks.
• Xavier matched its season high in goals with four. The Musketeers also had four goals vs DePaul on Sept. 15.
• Makel Rasheed scored his second goal of the season in the 23rd minute. Three Musketeers scored the first goal of their careers in Michael Rogalski, Lotem Ben Dov and Grayson Elmquist. A total of 12 different players have now scored for Xavier this season.
• Eight different Musketeers recorded a shot in the match, paced by Lotem Ben Dov, Grayson Elmquist and Makel Rasheed who all recorded two shots. Elmquist recorded a match-high two shots on goal.
• Jonny Mennell (7-3-5) made two saves and recorded his sixth shutout of the season. He now has a 0.94 goals against average and 43 saves on the year.
• Xavier moved to 3-0 all-time vs the Huskies.
