Women's Tennis Falls 4-3 at Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Xavier women's tennis fell, 4-3, to the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday afternoon, moving to 3-3 on the season.
The Musketeers remain on the road tomorrow, traveling to West Lafayette, Ind. to face Purdue, set for a noon start.

In doubles, Anna Roggenburk and Imani Graham picked up the first decision, takng a 6-2 win on the No. 2 court, but wins on the No. 3 court against Emily Flowers and Paulina Franco Martinessi, 6-4, and a 7-6 (5) win over Kat Lyman and Abby Nugent on the No. 1 court sealed the point for the Hoosiers.
Anna Roggenburk made it a 1-1 tie with a 6-3, 6-1 win on the No. 5 singles court in the first singles decision. A 6-1, 6-2 win over Imani Graham on the No. 1 court put the Hoosiers back in front and a 7-5, 6-1 win over Kat Lyman on court No. 2 made it a 3-1 Indiana lead.
Abby Nugent pulled Xavier back within one, 3-2, with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win on No. 3, but a 7-6 (6), 6-2 win over Abigail Siminski sealed the match win for the Hoosiers.
Emily Flowers picked up the last singles decision, a 7-5, 6-4 win on court No. 6 to set the final score at 4-3.
