Men’s Soccer Completes 2026 Roster, Signs Gerard Lorente

The midfielder joins the Musketeers from Spain
CINCINNATI - Xavier head men's soccer coach John Higgins completed his 2026 roster on Tuesday with the addition of Gerard Lorente.
"I'm delighted to add someone of Gerard's technical ability so late in the recruiting process," said Higgins. "We know he is super talented on the ball, but he is also a very hard worker and is motivated to come to the United States and prove himself. He will fit in very well with our group and we are hoping he can make an immediate impact."
Lorente is a 5-foot-8 midfielder from Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Spain. He attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and IES Llavaneres.
Lorente played club soccer with CE Mataró, UE Cornellà, CE Llavaneres and the Kings League. His teams competed at Preferente, División de Honor and Liga Nacional Juvenil.
