"I'm proud of X today. Our players got their feet wet on the Division I field and they showed talent, athleticism, speed and fight. Oregon gave us a great first game and I'd like to thank them for hosting us and challenging us. Looking forward to celebrating today with our friends and family who met us on the road and connecting with those who celebrated us from afar. Next week, we are focusing on playing under pressure in the midfield and finding the back of the net more consistently. Today, like every day, was a great day to be a Musketeer."

• Samantha Balara had a stellar game with two goals, one assist, two groundballs, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers. The freshman midfielder recorded the first program assist and draw control in the game and shot for two goals on two shots.
