Our first game, we showed that we never quit. Our second game, we played our first close game and battled hard to the last minute. Friday, we won a close game that we hadn't been able to win the weekend before. Today, we laid the next brick in to place. Back to back wins on the road.
Playing back to back games isn't easy no matter who you are. Winning two on the road as a first year program only happens when the entire team shows up. Our game plan was very simple, do your job. Execute the game plan. We won because very single player did their job.Â
I'm really proud of this group. They deserve a good day of rest tomorrow. I'm very excited to watch as they continue to lay the bricks in our foundation this season.
