Pendergast and Flowers Set to Take Part in ITA Sectionals

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis duo of Elizabeth Pendergast and Emily Flowers will team up to play doubles at the ITA Sectional Championships, running from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 10. Pendergast will also take part in the singles competition.

The event, hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., features teams from the ITA's Ohio Valley, Southeast and Southern regions.

The duo of Emily Flowers and Elizabeth Pendergast open up doubles play on Thursday, Nov. 7, taking on Georgia Tech's Kate Sharabura and Scarlett Nicholson at 9:00 a.m.
Pendergast will face Lucie Petruzelova of Ole Miss in the opening round of singles, with the time to be announced.
