Lola Mancuso collected her 13th career hat trick in the conference contest
VILLANOVA, Pa. - Women's lacrosse fell to Villanova, 8-18, on Saturday afternoon. Â
The Musketeers fall to 3-10 (0-4 BIG EAST) and the Wildcats advance to 6-7 (2-2 BIG EAST). The Wildcats move to 2-0 in the series history.
Sophomore goalkeeper Marina Piszczor reached the career milestone of 200 career saves in the contest. She becomes the first Xavier women's lacrosse player to reach a significant career milestone.

• The leading scorer for Xavier in the contest was Lola Mancuso with her 13th career hat trick and her seventh of the season. The sophomore attacker collected four goals and went 2-2 on free position shots, tacking on an additional two draw controls and one caused turnover.
• Additional scorers against the Wildcats were midfielders Julie Cassidy, a junior, Samantha Balara, a redshirt freshman, and Machaela Henry and Elle Busby, both freshmen.
• Redshirt junior attacker Dylan Halloran tied her Xavier career-high of two assists in the contest and was followed by Henry with her career first.
• Four midfield Musketeers collected two ground balls - sophomore Katelyn McDonnell, redshirt junior Julia Frombach, freshman Greer Simonton, and Balara. The two pickups were a career-high for Simonton.
• Balara was also one of two Musketeers that were able to force two turnovers on the Wildcats, freshman midfielder Caroline Smith being the second. The two caused turnovers were a career-high for Smith.
• Mancuso, redshirt sophomore midfielder Sawyer Walker, and Frombach were the leaders on draw efforts with two controls apiece. Â
• Marina Piszczor, the sophomore goalkeeper, collected seven saves in goal.
