AKRON, OHIO - The Xavier women's lacrosse team fell to Akron, 15-6, in the first game of the program's third season.
The Musketeers fall to 0-1 (0-0 BIG EAST) while the Zips improve to 2-1 (0-0 MAC).

Xavier will face crosstown rival Cincinnati on February 26 at the Bearcats' home field. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
