The Musketeers are looking to pick up their first BIG EAST win.

CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's lacrosse team wraps up the home slate against Villanova this weekend. First draw is set for 12:00 p.m. from Corcoran Field.

The Musketeers enter the weekend at 1-10 with an 0-3 record in BIG EAST play. The Wildcats are currently 9-4 behind a 3-1 BIG EAST record.

Saturday's game is Junior Musketeer Day and will also serve as the team's Pride Game.

Sami Carey leads the offense with 21 goals and 42 assists while Pappas follows up with 32 goals and 10 assists.
Villanova leads the BIG EAST with 21.00 points per game.

2025 schedule notes

The Musketeers were picked to finish seventh in the BIG EAST preseason poll.
Xavier faced Duke, Bucknell, South Florida and Gardner-Webb for the first time in program history.
The Musketeers played opponents from six conferences outside of the BIG EAST.
Xavier faced two teams who reached the NCAA Tournament last season, including Duke and BIG EAST foe Denver.
Denver was ranked No. 23 in the IWLCA Preseason Poll while Duke checked in at No. 25.
XU opened the home slate on March 13 against Gardner-Webb.
