Men's Golf Travels to Arkansas State Invitational

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf continues its season at the Arkansas State Invitational on April 14-15. The two-day tournament is being played at Ridgepointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark.

Xavier tees off at 9:45 a.m. ET on Monday with two rounds scheduled to be played. The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Musketeers also have a squad competing at the Wright State Invitational on April 13-14.

LAST TIME OUT

Mason Witt took home medalist honors at Northern Kentucky's The Jewell on April 8. The two-day tournament was played at Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia, Ohio.
The senior golfer won the tournament with a 36-hole score of 139 (-3), defeating Wright State's Shane Ochs by one stroke (140, -2). The individual title is the first of Witt's career (he now has four career top-10 finishes). The tournament field featured 83 golfers.
Xavier also placed eighth at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge on April 2. The tournament was plated at the True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.
Carson Bellish placed third with a 54-hole score of 207 (-9), the 11th top-10 finish of his career.

BIG EAST WEEKLY AWARDS

Mason Witt was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on April 10.
Ray Filter also earned the weekly honors on Feb. 20.
Kellen Dean also earned the weekly honors on Oct. 8.
