Men's Soccer Wraps Up Non-Conference Play on Tuesday Night Against Detroit

The Musketeers are coming off a 4-1 win over Providence on Saturday at XU Soccer Complex
CINCINNATI – Unbeaten in eight of nine, Xavier men's soccer remains at home on Tuesday night to wrap up non-conference play with a 7 p.m. match against Detroit at XU Soccer Complex.
The Musketeers (6-2-2, 2-1 BIG EAST) scored a season-high four times on Saturday to pick up their second BIG EAST win this fall, beating preseason league favorite Providence at home.

• The Titans are coming off a 3-1 road loss against Wright State on Saturday, but picked up quality results last week including a 4-0 home win over Belmont and a 2-2 draw against No. 16 Ohio State.
• Detroit is 4-0-0 at home this season and just 1-3-2 on the road.

• After PC got back to within one on a PK in the 16th minute, Xavier got a third goal by Matt Vasquenza in the 19th minute. Sam Buzzas capped the scoring with a 40th minute strike.
• Zach Nelson tied a career-high with six saves in net, allowing just one goal on a penalty kick.
• Sergi's two-goal performance was the first multi-goal match of his career.
